Lorena Cervantes is a versatile professional with over 15 years of experience in education, customer service, and leadership. Since 2022, she has served as a Family Partnership Specialist with Centro de la Familia, overseeing programs in South Utah including Genola, Holden, Centerfield, and Mount Pleasant. In this role, she supports children and families by fostering parent engagement, coordinating resources, and ensuring families receive the support they need to thrive.

Prior to her current position, Lorena worked as a bilingual preschool teacher with Head Start in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, from 2015 to 2022, where she focused on lesson planning, parent engagement, home visits, and individualized support. She also worked as an ELL Paraprofessional with the North Sanpete School District, helping students strengthen their English skills, assisting with parent-staff communication, and supporting migrant families through recruitment and summer programs. Earlier in her career, she gained leadership experience as a Team Lead at Mediconnect, where she managed and coached a customer service team.

Lorena earned her B.A. in Education Studies from Ashford University, graduating cum laude and making the Dean’s List, and holds an A.A. from Snow College. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong skills in communication, data entry, and team support.
