Lara Linares is a dedicated family educator and community advocate with over two decades of experience serving diverse populations. She currently works with The Family Place in Utah, where she provides outreach, teaches parenting classes, and helps families strengthen relationships through evidence-based education and support. Lara is bilingual in English and Spanish and is passionate about creating bridges for families in multicultural communities.

In addition to her work at The Family Place, Lara also serves as a Center Support Specialist with Centro de la Familia / Head Start, where she provides operational and administrative guidance to ensure quality services for children and families. Her career has included roles in early childhood education, disability services, and family support, always with a focus on empowering parents and building stronger communities.

Lara holds a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and Counseling and a Master’s in Human Resource Management with a minor in Family and Human Development from Utah State University. Originally from Ecuador, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Business Administration, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her work.

Outside of her formal roles, Lara continues to contribute to the community by occasionally teaching parenting classes at The Family Place. Her lifelong commitment to families reflects her compassion, strong listening skills, and ability to connect across cultures.
