Amidee Arellano brings a strong connection to Northern Utah, having grown up on a dairy farm in Smithfield. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies from Utah State University and also attended Weber State University in Ogden.

Since 2009, Amidee has dedicated her career to Early Childhood Education. Her experience spans roles as a teacher and director in state-licensed childcare centers, teacher for children ages 0–8 in licensed family childcare, and Education Specialist for the Clinton & Box Elder Centers at Centro for over six years. She also served nearly eight years as an instructor for Care About Childcare, delivering professional development courses statewide under the Utah Office of Child Care.

In January 2024, Amidee became the Utah North Area Manager for Centro, overseeing centers in Providence, Box Elder, and Clinton. She also serves on the Utah Head Start Association Board of Directors, representing Centro and advocating for quality early education and family services across the state and the nation.

Amidee is passionate about empowering communities through education. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, learning, and spending time with her husband, son & extended family exploring National Parks, camping, swimming, fishing, attending live music events, and caring for their small farm in rural Cache Valley.
