Proffesional Development

At Centro de la Familia, we grow together. We support our staff with ongoing training, paid certifications, and clear career pathways that can take you from classroom aide to lead teacher and beyond. You’ll also receive specialized training in cultural responsiveness and language learning to strengthen both your skills and your impact. Many of our team members first joined as parents through Head Start and discovered a calling to help other children succeed. Their diverse journeys and shared dedication make them not only skilled professionals but also caring, connected educators. At Centro, you’ll find more than a job—you’ll find a community and a place to build your future.

Mentorship & Coaching

Our team-based approach ensures that no one feels alone. New hires are paired with experienced staff and all staff receive coaching and guidance from supportive supervisors and professional coaches who want to see you thrive.

Work-Life Balance

At Centro de la Familia, we understand the demands of working in education, which is why we foster a flexible, respectful work environment and encourage healthy boundaries between work and personal life. We extend the same compassion to our staff as we do to the families we serve. To support balance and time for rest, Centro observes 13 paid holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and others, along with state-specific holidays such as Juneteenth (CO), Pioneer Day (UT), and Nevada Day (NV). Staff also accrue PTO for vacation and sick days, giving them additional flexibility to take care of themselves and their families
