  • Genola: Family Service Specialist (Part time)

    Under the direct supervision of the Family and Community Partnership manager, develops and oversees family partnership activities and develops collaborative community partnerships. Actively recruits to meet and maintain funded enrollment throughout the program year. Works closely with parents, teachers, and community partners to implement agency and Head Start program objectives and activities. Plays a critical role in engaging families in the program and supporting families in children’s school readiness.   • Mount Pleasant: Bus Driver

    Under the supervision of the Lead Bus Driver, this position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of children and parents/families between program activities and home and on field trips. This position is also responsible to keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating conditions always. Qualifications: The minimum requirement is high school diploma or GED and a current in-state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a School Bus and Passenger endorsement and/or other criteria specifically required by the state.  CPR and 1st Aide Certification.     Under the supervision of the Education Specialist, administers a program of early childhood education that is developmentally, linguistically & culturally appropriate; meets the individual & holistic needs of infants and toddlers; plans and implements learning experiences that ensure effective curriculum implementation and use of assessment to help promote children’s developmental progression; and works closely with parents and families to ensure they are intentionally included in the planning & execution of their child’s education.   • Salt Lake City (Main Office) Mental Health Consultant

    Must have experience working with young children; knowledge of culturally relevant services in the community for undeserved, migrant and seasonal families; knowledge of treatment in the areas of child behavior management and family crisis intervention; ability to work with families and staff; ability to provide emergency counseling, treatment and referral. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and current valid license in Mental Health, Psychology or a related field. Bilingual Spanish-English required. Three or more years’ experience working with young children and families.   • Salt Lake City (Main Office) Accounts Payable Specialist

    Under the direction of the Finance Director and Accounting Manager, responsible to assist and manage the accounts payable area to support Colorado and possible Nevada personnel with the procurement and purchasing processes. Record general ledger coding on purchase orders and make sure all purchase requisitions have proper approval. Ensure that bids and quotes are received on major purchases as required by federal procurement regulations. Keep accurate files of all bids and quotes and contract documents including compliance with Davis Bacon Act where appropriate. Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite. Qualifications: Associates degree (minimum) in accounting, business management or related field preferred. Physical requirements include extended periods of time sitting or standing, ability to lift 50 lbs., ability to perform other actions commonly associated with accounting.
