    Under the direction of the PDM Manager and Sr. Community Programs Specialist, coordinate and conduct outreach activities in the Latinx Salt Lake community. Prepare and present informational sessions live in-person and online. Assess program eligibility. Make referrals to partner agencies as appropriate. Assist with applications – gathering required documents, opening applications, completing applications, follow up. Work with Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa. Work with Salt Lake County Emergency Rental Assistance Program. All other duties assigned by PDM Manager or Sr. Community Programs Specialist. The position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in case management. Speak Spanish and English fluently. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and be comfortable learning new software applications. Be able to track and support multiple applicants. Have own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. Be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed. Be outgoing and passionate about serving the Latinx community.     Under the supervision of the Lead Bus Driver, this position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of children and parents/families between program activities and home and on field trips. This position is also responsible to keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating conditions always. Qualifications: The minimum requirement is high school diploma or GED and a current in-state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a School Bus and Passenger endorsement and/or other criteria specifically required by the state.  CPR and 1st Aide Certification.     Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the Head Start Director. Work with the Health Manager, Developmental Services Manager, and Area Managers to develop, implement, and coordinate mental health services to children and families. Make regular in-person observations and assessments at the Head Start centers. Meet with parents and the child’s developmental team to discuss and develop individual plans for children. Provide training on mental health and social-emotional well being to parents and staff. Provide emergency counseling, treatment, and referrals. Qualifications: Degree and current license in Psychiatry, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Marriage and Family Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or related field. Be bilingual in Spanish and English. Have 3+ years experience working with young children and families. Be familiar with culturally relevant services for Hispanic children and families. Be able to assess and offer treatment in the areas of child behavior management and family crisis. Other Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 50 lbs.   • Salt Lake City (Main Office) Accounts Payable Specialist

    Under the direction of the Finance Director and Accounting Manager, responsible to assist and manage the accounts payable area to support Colorado and possible Nevada personnel with the procurement and purchasing processes. Record general ledger coding on purchase orders and make sure all purchase requisitions have proper approval. Ensure that bids and quotes are received on major purchases as required by federal procurement regulations. Keep accurate files of all bids and quotes and contract documents including compliance with Davis Bacon Act where appropriate. Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite. Qualifications: Associates degree (minimum) in accounting, business management or related field preferred. Primary duties will be on the bus to ensure safety and promote school readiness and/or providing assistance in the classroom, on the playground. Secondary duties may include support to the cook, office manager, family service specialist, and disabilities specialist.

    Qualifications:The minimum requirement is that the individual be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience. HS/GED is highly preferred. Current and former Early Head Start and Head Start parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified. CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required. Must be able to work with children with special needs and children with limited or no English. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Physical requirements include extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, and crouching; the ability to lift and move 50 pounds. This is a Substitute Position.  Benefits: Not eligible for benefits.  Wage range: $9.80-$13.64
