Lisa’s involvement with Head Start began in 2002 when she enrolled her oldest child into a Head Start classroom in southern California. She quickly applied for a position in the program and began working with Early Head Start where she stayed for 6 years. In 2008, she moved to Utah and began working for Centro as a Head Start preschool teacher.

After 9 years of teaching preschool, she moved into an Education Specialist position, training and supporting teachers. In 2020, Lisa became the Center Support Specialist for Centro’s south area of Utah. Lisa’s most recent position change will take her to Colorado as the Area Manager for the Western Slope centers. Lisa holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southern Utah University.
