Cecilia Ordorizzi

Community Program Specialist

Cecilia oversees Centro’s Nuevo Día and Plazas Comunitarias programs. Through these programs, she is able to teach communication and life skills that she believes are crucial in every teen's life, in addition to helping adults complete their basic education. Serving the Latino community is one of Cecilia's greatest joys.

Cecilia previously worked in nursing; working in private, rehabilitation facilities, hospice and hospital settings. Due to her passion for human behavior, she is currently working to obtain her associate's degree in Social Work with and hopes to transfer to the University of Utah to complete her education.

Originally from Peru, she also works for an airline and loves to travel, discovering new places as well as visiting her family in her native country. Before arriving in the United States, Cecilia lived in various countries throughout South America, driven by a sense of curiosity for diverse cultures and lifestyles. Cecilia is a mother of three beautiful daughters, including two teenagers, whom she believes are her greatest teachers in life.
