Nurian Cuellar

Early Childhood Education Coach

Ms. Cuellar has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University. From 2011 to 2014 she worked for Cache County School District as a literacy paraprofessional at a Title 1 school.  In 2014 she came to work for Centro de La Familia as the education specialist at our Providence Center. For over three years, Ms. Cuellar supervised, trained, and coached over 20 education staff members.

In January 2018, Ms. Cuellar accepted the position of full time coach for Centro de la Familia. She is currently responsible for helping teachers recognize strengths, areas of needed support, and helps identify which teachers would benefit from intensive coaching. Ms. Cuellar utilizes program data to work towards improved school readiness for children and the professional development of direct care staff.

Her ability to relate to others and education in psychology, interpersonal relationships, and social behaviors have given her a passion for working with adults and helping them in the process of on-going learning and development. Nurian enjoys working side by side with teachers in their classrooms and treasures the direct interactions with the children they serve. When she is not at Centro de la Familia, she enjoys reading, painting, and any outside activity with her family. She is also dedicated to volunteering at the congregation she attends, helping in children’s, youth, and women’s ministries.
