Giovanna Hart

Executive Assistant & Program Support Specialist

Ms. Hart studied business, accounting, and English before immigrating to the United States from a traditional home in Lima, Perú. Once in Utah, she started her family and enrolled in the Legal Studies Program at SLCC and quickly became fascinated with immigration law. Ms. Hart followed this passion, interning with many different law firms assisting in VAWA, U visas, family petitions, and DACA cases.

In June 2018 Ms. Hart began working as a Community Outreach Specialist at the Ventanilla Educativa, based at the Mexican Consulate in Salt Lake City. In this capacity, she provided individualized consultations and referrals to the community’s educational programs and scholarship opportunities. 

In October 2018 Ms. Hart became Centro’s Executive Assistant and Program Specialist. She provides ongoing support to the CEO and Senior Staff with a variety of tasks and oversees and manages several of Centro’s databases. She is proud to work for an organization that embraces diverse cultures, promotes inclusion and opportunities for the Latino community, and provides educational opportunities for both children and families.

In her spare time, Ms. Hart is enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
