    Responsible for overseeing a Head Start Center's Food Services. Ensures compliance with all appropriate Local, State and Federal regulations pertaining to the Food Services component. This position is responsible for the ordering, preparing, serving and documenting of meals and snacks. It includes following menus and all phases of kitchen operations including inventory control. The position contributes to the smooth operations and functioning of the kitchen in adherence to health and food safety codes and the strict cleanliness of the kitchen and food service and storage areas. The position may prepare foods for infants and toddlers and/or preschool children following the USDA/CACFP standards. Qualifications: HS/GED. Minimum of 1-year experience in food preparation. Familiarity with USDA/CCFP meal requirements. Experience in preparing diverse appropriate foods. Ability to read and write English.     Under the direction of the Finance Director and Accounting Manager, responsible to assist and manage the accounts payable area to support Colorado and possible Nevada personnel with the procurement and purchasing processes. Record general ledger coding on purchase orders and make sure all purchase requisitions have proper approval. Ensure that bids and quotes are received on major purchases as required by federal procurement regulations. Keep accurate files of all bids and quotes and contract documents including compliance with Davis Bacon Act where appropriate. Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite.
