  • Genola: Center Aide

    Under the supervision of the center Education Specialist, possesses the ability and willingness to provide assistance to various areas as assigned. Primary duties will be assisting in the classroom, on the playground, and other areas around the center to ensure health, safety and promote school readiness. Secondary duties may include support to the cook, office manager, family service specialist, and disabilities specialist. Qualifications: The minimum requirement is that the individual be 18 years of age.  This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience. HS/GED is highly preferred.  Current and former Early Head Start and Head Start parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified.  CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required.  Must be able to work with children with special needs and children with limited or no English.  Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Physical requirements include extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, and crouching; the ability to lift and move 50 pounds; the ability to sit on the floor, crawl, run, and perform other actions commonly associated with caring for children age 0-5.   • Genola: Teacher Infant/Toddler

    Under the supervision of the Education Specialist administers a program of early childhood education that is developmentally, linguistically & culturally appropriate; meets the individual & holistic needs of infants and toddlers; and works closely with parents and families to ensure they are intentionally included in the planning & execution of their child’s education.

    AA/AS in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or a related field required. Current Infant/Toddler CDA with additional experience and training may be acceptable. Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required. Must be able to work with children with special needs and children with limited or no English. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Physical requirements include extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, and crouching; the ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds; the ability to sit on the floor, crawl, run, and perform other actions commonly associated with caring for infants and toddlers.  Full Time Position with benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Accidental/Critical Illness) PTO and Holiday Pay.  Pay range $11.91-$16.89

  • Box Elder: Custodian

    The custodian is responsible for the daily care and upkeep of the Head Start Center. Keeps the facility clean and sanitary. Qualifications: High School/GED; Able to read and write English; Able to lift 50 lb.; Custodial Experience desirable; Employment physical and TB test Position: 28 hours a week: Benefits: Dental/Vision Plan and Accidental & Critical Illness Plan and Holiday Pay.   • Genola: Bus Driver

    Under the supervision of the Lead Bus Driver, this position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of children and parents/families between program activities and home and on field trips. This position is also responsible to keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating conditions always. Qualifications: The minimum requirement is high school diploma or GED and a current in-state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a School Bus and Passenger endorsement and/or other criteria specifically required by the state.  CPR and 1st Aide Certification. Bilingual preferred English/Spanish. Position: Part-Time Benefits: Dental/Vision Plan and Accidental & Critical Illness Plan, and Holiday pay.  Pay wage range: $14.73-$19.87
